Large antique Scottish 19th Century hanging cast iron griddle plate/ girdle, Otherwise known as a bakestone or swing skillet.
Traditional Scottish cookware. Placed on the fire Aga or hot plate for making cakes or drop scones, Welsh cakes
Good working order - a no nonsense piece of Scottish history. Larger than usual.

Diameter: 12”, Height to bottom of handle 7”, height to top of hook 8.75”
Weight: 3.5 kg (allow 7.5 kg volumetric weight once packed).
mensurate with age and use - various superficial marks & scratches and some superficial corrosion but perfectly functional.
