This is a large Family Bible measuring 340mm x 260mm x 84mm (13 3/8\" x 10 1/4\" x 3 1/4\" thick) which is Black Leather bound, Beatifully and Heavily ornately Embossed - and quite heavy too.
The outer cover has been lovingly and carefully well used, showing remarkabley little signs of wear for its age. Printed circa >1860. Only a very few pages are not in pristine condition, and the text is as clear as the day it was printed. The spine of the bible has e partially detatched and some tender care is required to it and the leather cover if it is to be fully restored to its former glory.
