A proven touring veteran, this bicycle is ideal for those who like to cover distance without strain.
The ergonomics of this bike fortable and efficent pedalling for hours on end, while the wide range of gears allow you to find your rythmn and pace and maintain it despite gradient. The 26\" wheels allow a good amount of accelaration and manoeverability and are currently fitted with fast-rolling slick city tyres. There is also an option for alternate tyres for rougher terrain (+£30).
Coupled with the rear pannier rack, fender-style mudguards and nifty dynamo light integrated into the front wheel, this bike is great for long-range adventures. It's also good as muter, capable of carrying quite a load on the rear, and yet feeling speedy.
The funky setup of rear v-brake and front disk brake means you get the benefits of both systems, stopping power on the front and modulation on the rear.
The front dymano is connected to the front headlamp, meaning you never have to worry about forward illumination or batteries (which has literally saved my life in the past!).
This bicycle has been fully checked and serviced by an experienced bicycle mechanic es with a battery-powered rear light included.
Owing to it's age and usage there is some cosmetic damage to the frame, but is mechanically sound.
If you are considering Lands-Ending or transcontinental travel this bike will have your back. But as muter it's a reliable workhorse that is a pleasure to ride.
