The salary for this permanent Occupational Therapistjob is £36,282 - £40,146 per annum.

Main Duties:
The role will require you to assess and manage the impact of people's physical and mental health conditions on their occupational performance.
You will have the opportunity to put into practice the legislation underpinning, and further enhance your skills in, mental capacity assessments and best interest decisions, specialist mental health assessments, moving and handling risk assessments and intervention, equipment provision, major adaptations and rehabilitation with the aim of supporting and empowering people to live meaningful lives within the community.
You may also be required to undertake safeguarding work for those under your care.
You will also work with colleagues across all sectors to arrange appropriate support in the community, including engagement in safe hospital discharge processes, and will be managing a caseload of adults ensuring a high standard of Occupational Therapy provision.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
Ability to complete person centred and proportionate OT assessments
Knowledge of physical and mental health conditions and the likely impact on the individual, carer and family
Good communication skills and ability to adapt communication style when required with individuals, carers, families, other professionals and team members
A good understanding of and ability to assess and manage risk
Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
