Hours: 37.5 hours per week. Includes early mornings, days as well as occasional evenings and weekends. Hours are to be pre-agreed in advance and will vary from week-to-week to meet the needs of the business and to manage suppliers. Reporting to: MD About the Role The Marketing and Social Media Executive will have full responsibility for executing the marketing strategy and day to day promotional elements of our business. Working as part of a small operations team in a busy environment, they will need to be an experienced, self-motivated, organised, and creative individual who can take the lead and confidently own the varied elements of the role. The right person will be comfortable working holistically to create a premium omnichannel experience across our paid and organic channels, build our brand, promote our offering and continuously drive lead generation. They will be supported in achieving this by working with a number of different departments and third parties such as our Operation Manager and Community Host team, Website Hosting/Development company, PR agency, Design agencies and our Origin Members. They will work closely with our Commercial Manager to strategise, develop and drive planned marketing campaigns throughout the sales cycle, working to a strict budget and clear KPI s. Our Marketing and Social Media Executive will ensure our varied channels and third party listings always represent our current offering and will focus on maximising these opportunities to convert visits to a targeted number of enquiries and sales, ultimately generating new business and driving revenue. Whilst this role will primarily focus on promoting our brand and our Workspace/Meeting and Events offering, there will also be a responsibility to create material for use onsite that will help our Operations Team in communicating with members; whether that be promoting the regular member events, or simply generating branded items to support the running of the Workspace. Crucially the right person will enjoy becoming a key member of the thriving community at Origin. From this position they will foster relationships with our members here, exploring their individual stories and keeping up with their news. They will be expected to attend member events both on and off site to engage with members, take photos, videos and gather vox pops. This key knowledge and content will then be used to create daily social media posts, inspire regular blog pieces, form a monthly newsletter to our CRM database, and become noteworthy copy for our website, so as to increase engagement on our social channels, drive brand awareness and ultimately increase sales of our meeting/event space and workspace memberships. There will be a requirement to have technical knowledge and experience of working with Google Analytics, managing paid search through Google Ads, photography skills for content creation, proficient with IT so that with training you can publish comms on our screens in the space. Your work on this should drive enquiries through our sales funnel and high attendance to our member events. These are KPI s and you will be measured on this metric as a gauge of your success. Key Responsibilities A key responsibility will be to develop innovative ideas and find areas of opportunity that will see Origin Workspace driving more leads both online and offline Scheduling, maintaining and driving engagement across all social media, specifically using a scheduling tool (currently Hootsuite) across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn to manage channels Creation of a weekly and monthly report/dashboard on the post s effectiveness Proactively searching for relevant content to comment upon and/or share Engage with members and develop relationships to encouraging sharing of news for content Attend members events to gather photos, videos etc to use across platforms Maintaining and regularly creating content using Canva Pro and exercising photography and videography skills for our organic channels and website; working with appropriate external creative agencies as needed Manage all of the organic channels Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn as well as managed paid social campaigns on LinkedIn Idea generation for promotional campaigns i.e. competition and giveaway ideas to drive followers and brand awareness Creation and implementation of a marketing strategy whilst ensuring a premium omnichannel customer experience during each interaction through the sales funnel Development and execution of blog content Assisting with creating materials (using Canva Pro) to promote members events at Origin Manage our listings on third party platforms ensuring we are maximising opportunities Creating a monthly newsletter to send to our CRM database Engage with PR agencies to respond to journalist requests SEO work on the website optimising pages for organic search Reporting on weekly figures and making recommendations for adjustments Assist with developing and promoting our Connect Card offering ( members discount card) Act as champion for brand consistency across all materials used in Origin Workspace Working with relevant third parties to support activities; manage, co-ordinating and liaising as required Organising and managing video/ photo shoots to create supporting content for campaigns Manage and plan assigned marketing budget About You - To succeed in this position, you will need to be: - At least 3 years in industry experience, with a well-rounded knowledge of marketing functions - Self-motivated with a can-do attitude - Confident, friendly, approachable - Organised and responsible - Creative, both in your approach to building campaigns and in practice with your design skills. - Keen attention to detail - Reliable and conscientious - Within easy commute of Origin Workspace, as role is fully office based.
