PRICE DROP: Child's superb and robust cassette player from the early 1990's, in full working order, by Playskool - with its own hand-held microphone as well as built-in one plete with batteries but would play off mains too.
With the cassette player, 36 copies of the magazine 'Once Upon A Time', with a different fairy tale/ traditional folk story in each beautifully looked-after instalment (clear, protective, plastic backing on each cover has helped beautifully preserve them) are panied by 36 cassette tapes, in three separate, plastic carry cases (12 story cassettes in each case), on which captivating voices narrate the stories.
The pages are richly and beautifully illustrated throughout the whole of each story, bringing it to life. Each magazine is 23 pages long and contains the full text of a classic children's story as narrated, word for word, on the panying cassette, allowing your child to follow the words on the page while listening...
Honestly, these story magazines and cassettes can occupy your child for hours! At the same time the story books and recordings underpin their literacy, general knowledge and emotional faculty.
Great too for bedtime stories.
