VINTAGE WOODEN BOX - Traditional folk decor from 1960.
Polish souvenir \"Krynica Polska 1960y\".
Stunning wooden box in the shape of a book with hand-carved decoration and traditional alpine motifs.
Beautiful retro folk style, ideal for your home decor, for display or as keepsake.
It would be perfect to hold special photos, special memories and mementos.
The box features a carving on the front, representing a girl and a boy in their folk costume and a hut with alpine landscape backdrop.
This is encircled by floral decorations and star-like roundels, as well as other carvings.
The decor is painted in subtle pastel shades - pinks, yellows, greens, blues.
The spine bears this inscription: 'Krynica - Polska - 1960y'.
Krynica is the biggest spa town in Poland often called the Pearl of Polish Spas and is a popular tourist and winter sports destination situated in the heart of the Beskids mountain range.
Dimensions:
approx. 25 cm x 16 cm x 6 cm
In good condition with wear and mensurate to age.
