MID-CENTURY RARE PHILCO VINTAGE V HANDLE REFRIGERATOR
This RARE Vintage Philco V Handle Refrigerator 1953 still works. Opens right or left (totally unique). Only made for 2 years. Model #1149.
Dimensions: wide 770mm and 1660mm tall.
I'm selling my rare vintage Philco V handle refrigerator, which was recently removed from my office following the sale of my business. I used to have an pany in Central London and this was the office's fridge and used by all the team.
It works well.
This fridge was in production only a few years, 1953 to 1954. Made in Philadelphia.
This fridge is unique with the door opening either side - you simply turn the handle one way or another to determine which way you want to open the door.
The seal around the door is in great shape.
As you can see it needs a little love, but it works.
There are a few items missing, but you can buy spares from the US - I have details of the people and there is even a guy in the UK that will restore it for you.
If I had more time I would love to do this, but I simply do not have the time.
