Here is an excellent vintage J.W. Benson watch from Old Bond Street London.
Now a very collectable brand, J.W Benson was founded in the 1850's and had huge success, even being awarded the Royal Warrant.
This particular watch has a Swiss CYMA movement which has been professionally serviced (Nov22) es with 12 months warranty from the watchmaker from that point. The service receipt e with the watch.
The Stainless steel case measures 34.5mm in diameter excluding the crown. A very large size for the age of the watch. It does show some signs of its age with light wear. It was polished at the same time as being serviced.
The beautifully patina'd dial looks superb against the polished case.
The watch has been fitted with a brand new leather strap as well as a new crystal. es in a vintage J.W. Benson watch box which shows its age, with some repairs. Still perfectly usable.
