Vintage fly fishing rod, The Trossachs Callendar

This vintage fibreglass fly fishing rod was my grandad's, who sadly passed away in 1978. Alex Johnston, a joiner to trade, was a keen fisher and bowler. The rod, built by \"The Trossachs Rod Building Co. Callander,” is a two-piece item and 10' 4 in length, as per the marking in one of the photographs. In immaculate condition, the rod is perfectly straight with no kinks. An ideal collectors item for any flying fishing aficionado.
The badge on the rod states as follows: The Trossachs Rod Building Co. Callander Scotland. A Clan. Clanglas. 10’ 4.
