Very Rare 1964 Gibson Titan Medalist All Valve 65w Guitar Combo (With Tremolo)

Here we have a lovely & very rare amp. This is a 1964 Gibson Titan Medalist with tremolo.
These were produced from 1964 to 1967. There were only 148 of these ever built. This one is from the first year production in 1964 and in that year there was only a production run of 66 units. It has a 2 speaker arrangement with a 15″ and a 10″ speaker. This gives it a Bright tone with the 10″, along with the deeper tone of the 15″ speaker. In the first two years, they were produced with this brown vinyl covering.
Containing 11 tubes, utilizing a quad of 6L6 output tubes, and although I have seen these advertised at 100w, realistically it was rated at 65-watts output. The interesting thing about this 15\" & 10\" speaker configuration is that Gibson installed a crossover in the cabinet so the lows and highs would be split between the 15” and 10” speakers, respectively. That’s not something seen often in guitar world.
It has recently been fully serviced by my engineer & is PAT tested. Has built-in tremolo, footswitch & back-prop.
Apart from a change of the 10″ speaker to a more modern Jensen, this is an all original amp & is in amazing condition to say that it is now 54 years old.
This amp is for collection only as it is just too fragile to ship!
