Very spacious ground floor flat just off Newhaven road, in a secure, clean stair. There is a communal garden, fully enclosed so very safe for kids to play out in, there is also Victoria park, pilrig park, keddie park and water of leith walkway all within a few minutes from my door. My flat has just literally been decorated throughout, new kitchen, new bathroom and every room painted within the last few weeks. The living/dining area is a generous size as are all the rooms really. there's plenty of storage with two built in wardrobes in the bedroom, again a very decent size. there is further storage in the hallway with another cupboard. Double glazing and gas central heating, shower over newly fitted bath (used to have a wet room which is still in situ so could be changed back) newly laid vinyl planks in hallway. Move in condition. Everything within walking distance, schools, parks, asda 24 hr, PO, library and plenty of bus routes to and from the city. There are basement flats below me, with a bridge leading to the stair door so your windows are safe from the main drag (always a bonus with ground floor!) been here 10 years and would love to have my own patio or private garden as my health is not getting any better, so any swap would have to be (in my opinion) better than what i have. I'm in no hurry as this is a stunning flat, so i'm happy to wait and see what's on offer. I am looking for a very large, MUST BE ground floor 1 bedroom or 2, and must have either private patio or garden, NOT shared. I am open to various areas. my landlord is Harbour homes (formerly port of leith housing association) please don't reply if you can't/won't include photos of your own property, I am mostly housebound so would need an idea of what you have before i could consider getting out to see it. thanks
