This is an incredibly special vehicle, built to our exacting standards and fitted with the incredible LS3 petrol V8 engine boasting amazing performance with looks to match.Originally Keswick green was marketed as the colour of choice for farmers and country folk to blend into the countryside. I was however, quickly adopted as the purists choice as a subtle nod to Land Rovers of the past and the history behind the evolution od this iconic vehicle. The sumptuous pliments the exterior beautifully and is hand finished in leather boasting contrasting diamond double stitch quilting. Whether you want to use it for towing your horse trailer locally or for an epic road trip round Europe, this Defender will bring a smile to your face that is impossible to ignore.As you would expect from any Twisted vehicle we have started from the ground up. The chassis has been specially coated to increase its lifespan and the handling has been dramatically improved with our full progressive set up. Alongside this, our 18 inch classic wheel finished in black with BF Goodrich bination provides both incredible on and off-road control but also enhances the styling in a subtle and non audacious way.Naturally one of the biggest additions to this Defender is the 6.2 litre LS3 V8 engine paired with a silky smooth 6 speed automatic transmission with manual selection when required. It provides around 430 horsepower and delivers infinite smiles per gallon. Sophisticated enough to drive around the town in an understated manner but endless power and torque when required and nothing quite beats that V8 burble through the tailored stainless exhaust.The exterior has been enhanced with our usual attention and benefits from all LED lighting alongside our daytime running light front bumper. Our stage one front end conversion with matching grille and vent set gives a really clean look and takes inspiration from the Defenders history. The rear looks purposeful with its full width step bumper, swing away wheel carrier, painted black crossmember and of course the all important Twisted Yorkshire plaque.Moving inside the Defender it has been fully stripped, our unrivalled soundproofing installed and recarpeted to provide a level of refinement usually unheard of in a Defender. On top of this our Twisted trimmed Recaro heated seats are in position and offer a fantastic level fort. We convert the bases to be removable allowing access to the battery and jack. Additionally the door cards, handles plete dashboard are also trimmed to match. The wooden Twisted classic steering wheel works incredibly well against the saddle leather and is the perfect size to allow more leg room but also positive feedback while driving this engaging V8. Finally, the addition of cruise control to the leathered steering cowl makes this the motorway drivers dream Defender.The rear has not been forgotten and above the soundproofing and carpet sit two forward facing lock and fold seats trimmed in matching saddle and black leather. The sliding window trims have been trimmed in black Alston technosuede tying in with the black Alston headlining giving a real premium feel and ridding the interior of some of the exposed plastics of the standard version. The rear door card is trimmed to match the interior and finally, the seatbelts throughout have been replaced by matching saddle versions.Whilst this is still very much a Defender in characteristic and feel, it is elevated and refined making you want to drive it more and more and more.
