AMAZING CONDITION - 1930's J. AURICOSTE - LEMANIA CAL. 19N CHRONOGRAPH STAYBRITE STEEL POCKET WATCH
Up for sale a nice J. Auricoste - Aurial pocket watch in excellent condition. The watch has been manufactured by Lemania around mid 1930's and is crown wound and set.
The original Breguet enamel dial is in good condition. Dial features black Arabic numerals and Tachymetre scale, recessed seconds and chronograph minute counter dials and is fitted with a nice pair of blued Poire hands set.
The low dome mineral crystal is in excellent condition.
Lovely generous size staybrite steel case opens and closes nicely. Case shows various age related marks to the case but remains in very good original condition.
Inside case back ACIER STAYBRITE and a 6 digit serial number, related to Lemania internal production indexing, and the watch corresponds to 1930-1940's production dates.
The movement has a winding mechanism through the crown at twelve. High quality, Lemania cal. 19N, 17 jewels, frost gilt finish movement, lovely preserved.
Diameter of the watch excluding the pendant is ~48 mm. Including pendant ~62 mm. Thickness is ~13.5 mm. All the imperfections are presented in picture.
The watch is in working condition and keeps good time, and was last serviced back in 2018. Chronograph starts stops and resets as it should.
Any other defects not mentioned in description but visible in the pictures will be considered as described.
