The Oxford Nursery Song Book 1933 First Edition By Sir Percy Buck
This original First Edition book has e a classic since it was published in 1933 by the Oxford University Press.
The 62 numbered pages of this soft covered book contain the words and music for 111 traditional children’s songs, which were collected and arranged by Sir Percy Buck.
This is a private sale from a pet, smoke and Covid free home. This song book has been in my family since it was originally purchased new in the 1930’s.
This much loved book has been well looked after, so is a nice clean copy and in very good condition for its age. The spine is tight and there are no loose, or missing pages. The three staples which hold the spine have rusted, the pages have turned a slightly yellow colour and there are a few small spots of foxing - all of which is to be expected given the age of this book. There are no holes or tears on the inside pages, nor are there any handwritten notes or highlighting which might detract from them. The front and back covers are a little faded and showing signs of some wear.

Size: Approximately 25.0 cm high x 17.5 cm.
