Team Leader - Cambridgeshire

My client based in Huntingdon is currently looking to recruit a team leader on a part time basis (3 days per week) who will be involved in encouraging fundraising and supporting the volunteers and local people in the community. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident, positive person who has some previous management skills. You will need your own transport due to working in different locations occasionally and the hours/days may be flexible depending on the individual! If you want a role where you will be able to add value and make a big difference in your local area keep reading This position will include: Volunteer Management: Actively advertising the service and volunteer recruitment with external agencies and media Recruiting volunteers / Monitoring the quality of volunteers Allocating volunteers to sessions / care homes / courier or home visits Ongoing management of volunteers Planning and delivering initial and ongoing training of volunteers Staff management: Managing session supervisors Holding staff meetings Organising and delivering training and good practice meetings Monitoring the quality of staff delivery Regular coaching and supervision of staff Following the disciplinary, sickness absence and performance management process when applicable Covering absence and annual leave at sessions Chairing regular team meetings Reporting: Creating management reports on a regular basis Attending management meetings Working with staff to improve collation of statistics Reporting to funders in line with requirements Utilising new technology to streamline data collection Sending out feedback forms and collation of results. Fundraising: Fundraise from the client base Increase direct debit giving Coach and Motivate staff to fundraise Ensure we meet requirements of the fundraising commission Update fundraising materials Report on fundraising progress against target customers Answer customer phone enquiries Allocate customer enquiries to relevant people Pick, pack and send battery and tubing orders Ensure customer enquiries are dealt with promptly Ensure email and post enquiries are allocated or completed Ensure referrals for additional services are made promptly Liaise with SG lead over any safeguarding concerns Gathering wishes of the community to share future services If you feel this is the position for you please send your CV to (url removed) or call (phone number removed)
