Nurture/SEN Teacher – Leicester

TeacherActive has a fantastic permanent opportunity working with a SEND school based Leicester, they offer day care and residential places for boys and girls KS1 / Key Stage 1 – KS5 / Key Stage 5 + who have social, emotional and mental health needs or high functioning autism.
No two days will be the same you will be supporting pupils in the classroom, around the school site and during offsite activities.
The Senior Leadership Team will be there to offer guidance as and when needed, and will great a supportive and encouraging working environment.
It is important to note, it is essential you own your own vehicle due to the location of the school on public transport.
Applicants need to have:
Experience working with pupils with special educational needs and disabilities
Apply experience and knowledge to a SEMH educational context
Knowledge of primary and secondary curriculum
Genuine passion to make a difference within the schools and pupils lives
Ability to puter databases mon programs
fortable driving pupils to and from provision / Home etc using school vehicles
