Working within the Tax team you will be responsible for reviewing tax returns prepared by the other team members, promoting specialist tax advice to clients, keeping up to date with legislation and developments within tax as well as being able to develop, manage and motivate members of the tax team.
You will have objectives to work to as well as working within the business plan set by the directors so that the overall goals and vision are being achieved as a collective of employees. You may also need to prepare your own tax returns as well as working closely with the wealth management side of the business to gain referrals.
That's why we are looking for someone who has working with clients across corporation Tax, capital tax, personal tax and business tax. As well as exposure to employment taxes and VAT. Someone who has worked within an accountancy practice environment previously or a CTA.
This is a full time position working 37.5 hours a week, with hybrid working available after probation, 24 days holiday + bank holidays that will increase after time, Study support if requested, CPD and professional subscriptions paid for, referral schemes for introducing new clients to the business as well as a number of team building days out and the chance to get involved in 2/3 volunteering days a year.
