2017 Suzuki GN 125 - One owner from new - Great motorbike

Bought in 2017 brand new & kept in great condition

Had one owner (me) since new, has been kept under shelter wherever possible and in good condition

Regular maintenance including 2-3 professional services in the garages since I bought it in 2017. I regularly maintain the bike myself, keeping it safe & dry, oil changes, spark plug changes, checking bike is safe, chain tightening, cleaning, protecting with antirust etc. I did not plan on selling this bike so I wanted to keep the bike new, clean and well running.

Lowish miles but hard to tell as I swapped speedometer (odometer) as I had to put in a MPH Speedo to pass MOT (original speedo was KM/h and it failed MOT due to this). the average UK motorcycle is driven ~3000miles year i'd say I drove this bike less than 2000miles per year so its probably has max 10k miles right now but probably less as due to covid I've stopped using it muting and only took it out for drives.

Some days in summer i'd drive several times per week muting & just taking it out, other times like winter it can go months without being used. In spring or autumn it may be used 2-3 days a week. With covid i've been working from home nearly every day since March 2020 so it hasn't been used muting since then.

The es with loads of spare parts because I actually own 2 GN125s, the older one I stripped for parts and I am including all parts in this sale. You'll be getting things like a new seat which I took off this bike when I bought it and put in storage. 2x newish wheels/tyres as I put my old wheels & tyres from my old GN125 onto this new GN125 & kept the new ones that came with this bike in storage for future use. Brand new chain & sprockets (not on bike, in boxes), brand new keys & key chamber (also not on bike, in boxes), lights, bulbs, cables, wires, indicators, practically every spare imaginable. This means if something breaks & or you get a flat tyre, you'e got spares sitting waiting and dont need to order them online or pay for a garage to buy them.

Tax is around £19 per year, MOT costs I think £30, and Insurance for me I think is like £80/year so this is cheap to run and it pays for itself.

The bike is really cheap to run I think it gets 90-100mpg so you save a pared to public transport or using a car. Before covid I used this muting and it costs pennies to pared to my car.

I'd love to keep this bike but its getting used less & less as I get older, and i'm spending time with family & the novelty of bike trips has worn off.

As its a 125cc its learner legal and its really easy to attach L or R plates to either the front forks, front windscreen, and the back topbox or beneath the license plate
This bike has a really spacious topbox that is super easy to use & remove. It can fit a helmet or a biker coat and has space for other things. This means you can drive to shops or do a bike trip and store your helmet, coat or shopping in the box.

This bike has plenty of features such as it's own steering lock, bars at the back for you to attach top box or side panniers (also included), heated grips, auxiliary lights, reserve fuel tank, side stand, centre stand (reaully useful), gear indicator so you know what gear youre in, neutral indicator.

I do not really want to sell the bike as its so good but now im paying tax+mot+insurance+petrol every year and its not getting used to justify the spending as I've been working from home and the bike is just sitting in my garage costing me money.

The bike has a fortable seat & upright riding positions, and extra footpegs for a passenger so you & pillion passenger fortably travel

the top speed is around 68mph in average conditions but fortable cruises at 60mp h which is fine for NI anyway. It is really easy & fun to take this on country roads eg north coast or around the mournes.

As its a suzuki its a reliable japanese bike . The general consensus is that japanese bikes are more reliable and better quality than chinese bikes.
I've had plenty of people who know bikes tell me these GN125s are bombproof and are extremely reliable

So if you are interested you'll get this great bike that is quite new with lowish miles aswell as loads of spare parts & brand new parts and accessories. I'll also have no need for all my oils and other products, I think I have loads of ACF50 (antirust spray) , plenty of unused oil for future oil changes, brake fluid, helmet & visor spray, chain lube etc
