Breckenbrough School is a residential Special School that specialises in helping boys reach their academic and social and emotional potential.
We provide both day places and weekly boarding over 38 weeks.
About the Support Worker - Waking Night role:
Your duty each night will vary depending on who you are supporting, but you will always:
Provide students with truly person-centred support in doing the things they love to do, and in making choices and decisions

38-week term dates
Full in-house training scheme which provides statutory training in fire, first aid, and safeguarding, physical intervention along with pertinent topics to assist with pupil engagement, intervention and SEN focuses.
Job Requirements
Strong communication skills, a positive and caring attitude, and a willingness to work as part of a small, committed team.
Previous experience as a support worker / care worker / carer in a similar setting.
QCF Level 2 or 3 in health and social care or equivalent is preferred but full training can be provided to the right candidate.
Your starting salary will be Point 6 as of 1 April 2022 – £23,066 per annum/£10.56 per hour, normal working hours are 21:30 to 07:30 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, worked over 38 weeks.
This is a 52-week contract, though only required to work term time. This will be reviewed annually, and your salary will be paid directly into your bank account.
