A special education school for students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs is seeking a Support Worker to join our dedicated team. As a Support Worker in our SEMH school, you will play a crucial role in creating a supportive and inclusive environment for our students.
Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one support for students with SEMH needs in a classroom setting.
Assist with behaviour management and promoting positive behaviour strategies.
Work closely with teachers to provide individualised support to meet the needs of each student.
Encourage and support students in their personal and academic development.
Contribute to the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs)Requirements:
Previous experience working with students with SEMH needs.
A kind passionate nature with a genuine desire to help students succeed.
