Streetscene Officer
Location: Salisbury
Salary: GBP23,194 – GBP25,409 per annum

The Council is currently seeking a Streetscene Officer to join their team.
You will oversee a team of Streetscene Operatives who carry out a range of activities such as:
Removal of litterServicing street litter binsStreet sweepingRemoving weeds, graffiti and fly tippingGathering evidence required for prosecutions They are looking for someone who:
Would like to take first steps into Management as a Team LeaderIs confident in working with machinery and vehicles to complete basic level repairsHas working knowledge of MS productsEnjoys working outdoors Applicants must have a valid driving licence.

Lead and motivate a Streetscene TeamOperating, daily maintenance and minor repair of equipment and sweepersGood level of H&S knowledgeEffective communication to be able to Implement and create daily work schedules and identify areas for improvement during site inspectionsGood attention to detail to be able to carry out inspections of the Streetscene team work.Computer literateA full driving licenceWork as part of the SCC teamFriendly and approachable manorWork to high standards achieving appropriate Streetscene gradesWork on own initiative and with minimal supervisionAble to train others on minor repairs
