Stratton Powder Compact Vintage

Stratton Convertible Compact, 21st Birthday “Key to the Door,” unused. Purchased in the 1960s.
Compact measures 3 inches. Comprises of sifter, mirror, intact gold plating, original box, instructions and black felt pouch. Still has the inspection docket slip inside.
Suitable for most solid or loose powder and is in excellent condition, the latch works crisply.
Set on top of the lid is an attractive ‘key to the door’ motif. The background of pact lid is Stratton’s textured ‘linen effect’ design.
The lid opens to reveal a spotless powder well. The mirror has not 'ghosted'.
The back is shining, clean, free of dents or scratches and has 1960s design of stars with a Stratton cartouche in the centre.
The box has some storage wear on edges.
