SQL Database Administrator - 12 Month Contract - Yeovil Based - GBP39.59 an hour Umbrella Inside IR35 This is a great opportunity to join one of the UKs leading Defence organisations based in Yeovil. The role holder: They will uses database management system software and tools to collect agreed performance statistics. Carry out agreed database maintenance (using SQL toolsets) and administration tasks for both legacy and future projects. Installation and configuration of SQL Server across multiple platforms Previous experience with Indexes, index statistic updating & index optimisation, Capacity planning and Query Optimisation & Query Execution Plans Carry out investigation and resolution of incident and request tickets using ITIL methodologies. Design and Implementation Occasionally the Infrastructure Engineering team are asked to support projects in the initial phases, including design. The candidate should have experience in designing and implementing SQL systems to a specific set of requirements.Knowledge: Knowldge of legacy SQL versions from 2008R2 to 2022. Working knowledge of the installation and setup of database instances in order to support customers. Knowledge of SQL Server Analysis Services (both OLAP and Tabular) and SQL Server Integration Services Skills: Experience with PowerBI SQL Server Reporting Services Experience with PowerShell scripting SQL Accrediation would be a benefitFor more information, please contact Lauren Morley at JAM Recruitment oor click apply.
