We are seeking an experienced and dedicated SEND English Teacher to join our clients team at a well celebrated trust school. As a SEND English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality English education to students with special educational needs and disabilities. The ideal candidate should be passionate about teaching and able to adapt their teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each individual student.
Responsibilities:
Design and deliver engaging and effective English lessons for students with SEND, including those withlearning disabilities.Assess student's abilities, identify their strengths and weaknesses, and create individualised learning plans to help them achieve their goals.Use a variety of teaching methods and tools to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.Monitor student's progress and provide regular feedback to parents and caregivers.Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.Keep up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in SEND education, and integrate new approaches and techniques into your teaching. Requirements:
Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.Experience teaching English to students with SEND in a mainstream or special school setting.Strong subject knowledge in English and the ability to deliver engaging and challenging lessons.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.A commitment to providing an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students with SEND.
