The School and Role
This large, ‘Outstanding’ SEN school, based in Hackney are looking to appoint a passionate Teaching Assistant to work in a Primary and secondary class on a full time. Working in this SEN school as part of an established team, the desired Teaching Assistant will be working on a small group basis with SEN students. This full time Teaching Assistant role is long term and potentially permanent.
The teaching assistant will be expected to support students with moderate and severe learning difficulties. The school hours are between 8:30 - 16:00.
Requirements
The desired Teaching Assistant will have;
- Experience supporting children with special needs in a professional capacity.
- Must be able to obtain references from 2 current/previous employers.
- Must have or be willing to pay for a DBS on the update service.
- A passion for the progress of primary/secondary school pupils.
