SEEKING LIVE-IN COUPLE AS PROPERTY GUARDIANS AND ESTATE MANAGEMENT, SURREY

Seeking a live-in couple as guardians for our 6 bedroom property in the Surrey Hills. Working for a friendly (midlife) couple who need help to manage their property and surrounding land.
In addition to the guardianship role the role also involves 20hours of housekeeping per week and 20hours of property and estate management per week paid at a rate of £10p/h.
A separate and furnished newly renovated 3 bedroom Victorian cottage will be included as part of the role
The housekeeper role will be responsible for the day-to-day care of the 6-bedroom house (no children at home). Duties include cleaning, changing beds, laundry, ironing, maintaining deep cleaning schedules and daily, weekly and monthly tasks to ensure the property is consistently maintained to a high standard. Experience of working in a private household would be desirable.
Property and estate management will involve gardening and handyman duties to ensure the external property is also maintained to a high standard. A good understanding and experience of caring for vegetables, plants, trees, hedges, fencing, outbuildings is essential plus general maintenance skills for 30 acres. Knowledge of garden machinery essential - strimmers, hedge cutters, chain saws, lawnmowers, tractor, quad bike etc.
Must hold a driving license to be able to run errands including airport drop offs and pick-ups
Loving cats is essential (we have 8 of them) as you will assist with daily feeding and looking after them when we are away
This would suit a couple who are looking for rent free living in beautiful accommodation in the stunning rural setting of the Surrey Hills. Given the part time nature of the role it also allows you to be able to take on other jobs in the local area although the first priority will always be to the guardianship and care of the property

Start date – the current guardians are unfortunately leaving in July so it would be great to find a couple before they leave so there can be a comprehensive handover.
