Scalextric Vintage Slot Car. Porsche 917LH (Langheck). Circa 1970. Secondhand.
Near mint condition, slight damage to front spoiler, see picture.
The Porsche 917 is a prototype racing car developed pete in the 24 Hour Le Mans race, and was to give Porsche its first win there in 1970. This is the long tail, Langheck version, produced to reduce drag for the fast straights of La Mans, Monza and Spa. A real one, shown peting at the Nürburgring.
Porsche were always tweaking the body, this Scalextric model is close to the 'Martini' entry shown in the last picture.
This car hasn't raced since 1971 and needs to find a good home.
