Mpeople Recruitment are currently seeking a Sales Administration Supervisor to join a market leading and well-established business based in Swinton.
Salary: GBP30,000 - GBP35,000 dependent on experienceLocation: Clifton, Swinton (M27)Hours of work: 09:00 - 17:00, Monday - Friday (some flexibility on this)Benefits: Free employee parking, and increased annual leave with service Our client based are a well-established manufacturing organisation that have a well-established customer base within the UK hospitality sector. They have a number of large volume accounts that make regular orders, but also offer a bespoke service for independent businesses.
The Senior Sales Administrator / Sales Administration Supervisor's main responsibilities will be across Sales Support, Account Administration, Procurement, Reporting and Team Management.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
Assist sales managers on pricing and quotations where requiredOversee and manage quotation process including conversion of quotations to sales ordersDirect and delegate preparation of quotes and job sheets between the administration teamControl and manage job sheets and instructions to the factory regarding sales orders and on-going productionManage relations, orders, quotes and correspondence with existing customersMaintain all relevant documents relating to sales including purchase orders, snagging and client filesLiaising with the production team regarding stock levels and ordering products from approved suppliers at best value for moneyRaising orders and liaising with suppliers and the business' finance team regarding delivery and paymentUpdate Production Chart for all new orders and highlight where customer's PO's have not been receivedChase up all outstanding customer PO's and monitor accordinglyLiaise with the finance team regarding credit limits and new accountsKeep Production updated with any revisions to job sheets and delivery timetablesAttend production meetings when required and assist the team with solutions to production issuesTrain and mentor junior administrators to take on more responsibility by investing time in developing their skill setsInstil and encourage a culture of team spiritImplement a review process for quotations and any other output prepared by less experienced administratorsEnsure that the team responds to clients within 24 hours and turns around quotations within 48 hours of receiving a request from the customer or the relevant sales managerEstablish consistent and munication with pany's clients Skills & Attributes Required:
Experience of managing/supervising a team is essential - being able to delegate workloads, deal with escalated issues, and offer day to day guidance for team membersSales order processing experience is also munication (written and verbal) skills and rapport buildingGoing above and beyond to deliver a high quality of customer serviceEfficient organisational and prioritisational skillsAbility to work in fast-paced and high pressure environmentsProblem-solvingA positive and enthusiastic 'can do' attitudeA great team-player Please note that Mpeople Recruitment cannot always respond to all applicants due to the high volume of CV's received on a daily basis.
