Royal Tara 6 Cup Tea/Coffee Set, Claddagh Brooch, Fine Bone China, Galway, 1967 - Superb Condition!
This is a really plete 21-piece set which a friend has asked me to sell on her behalf: it was gifted to her and her late husband new for their wedding in Galway and she would like someone else who will get more use out of it to have it now. :)
(Indeed, she told me she considered this set too 'posh' to ever actually use- so she never did!)
The condition of these six cups, six saucers, six plates, milk jug, sugar bowl and spoon is truly superb- better than my photos (taken with my old, cheap camera which doesn't like focusing on fine detail!) are able to show, frankly. Prospective buyers e and have a look at them 'in the flesh'- they won't be disappointed.
This would make a lovely present for someone who appreciates such things, perhaps someone setting up home for themselves for the first time.
Buyers can pick-up from me in Litherland (North Liverpool), and have a look before buying.
Alternately I can deliver in Merseyside for a few quid extra. As we sometimes do stalls at record/book fairs in other cities we MIGHT be able to deliver it to you there too- if you’d like to explore this option message me with your whereabouts so I can tell you if/when we’ll be in the vicinity. ;)
I would prefer NOT to entrust this lot to the post or a courier- it is so very fragile and it would be such a pity if, after 50+ years of remaining 'like new', it were NOW to be damaged. :(
