Retail Store Colleague

Wise Employment are currently recruiting for exciting permanent opportunities for a Retail Store Colleague for an established and fast growing National company based in Plymouth. Due to a recent store opening, we are looking for a retail store colleague who is driven and focused on building customer relationships. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a well-established and market leading store in the UK. The role will see you offering a proactive and personalized customer service and supporting the store team in order to achieve the store s financial goals. We are recruiting 1 x Full Time Store Colleague (37.5 hours Monday to Saturday 9am-530pm 5 days out of the 6) on a salary of GBP20,943. Our client values their employees and offers significant benefits packages along with a competitive salary plus potential bonus per quarter/annum (an achievable additional GBP1K per year). Such benefits include; Competitive holiday scheme (22 days + bank Holidays increasing after 3 years by 1 day per year to a maximum of 25 days), 25% off store products (with the ability to spread payments over 4 months out of wages), eye care scheme, child care voucher scheme, subsidized private health care and dental schemes, retail store discounts to name a few. Also, the stores are closed on Sunday. There will also be a salary review in the New Year. You will be seeking opportunities to interact and build positive working relationships with customers, understanding their individual needs and ensure each customer is felt welcomed and supported when they visit the store. You will be offering relevant advice to customers and guide them to the right product for their individual situation. You will need to have excellent numeracy and communication skills (oral and written) and have an approachable and friendly demeanor and be reliable and trustworthy. You will have the ability to build excellent rapport, be engaging and have a positive work ethic. This role will be subject to references and an enhanced DBS check (costs are covered if you don t have one on the update service already) and training may involve stays away within the local area where all expenses are covered (food, accommodation and travel).
