We have been sourced by the local Authority to provide a new therapy based residential care setting for young people with complex learning disabilities. Our restorative positive behaviour support approach focuses on understanding and addressing the underlying needs of children and young people rather than on their behaviours and challenges.
We are looking for experienced support workers and team leaders who can demonstrate empathy, commitment, compassion, and creativity, needed to work with young people with varying abilities and from diverse backgrounds. We want a staff team with patience and resilience which is required when working in a role with vulnerable young people.
We want to provide a nurturing and supportive home where both young people and staff can develop, grow, and have fun along the way.
The successful candidates will support young people and staff to grow and develop to their full potential by:
- Embracing the organisation's visions and values, therapeutic ethos, and implementing our Positive Behaviour Support Approach
- Nurturing a homely, caring environment in which young people and staff can thrive.
- Ensuring that the home's statement of purpose is adhered to, and the home's objectives are always met. Working within the organisations' policies and procedures, the Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and associated Quality Standards.

Licence/Certification:
- Full Manual Driving Licence held for over 12 months (required)
- Maximum - 3 points on licence.
