This is a great opportunity to join the UK Committee for UNICEF (UNICEF UK) as a Research, Evaluation & Participation Manager.
UNICEF UK ensures more of the world's children are vaccinated, educated and protected than any other organisation. This role will sit within an expanding research and evaluation unit, within the Advocacy, Programmes and Safeguarding Directorate (APS). This department is specifically focused on delivering direct impact for children, by achieving systemic change through the work of our three domestic programmes: the Baby Friendly Initiative, Rights Respecting Schools Award and Child Friendly Cities and Communities.
You will help us demonstrate UNICEF UK's impact for children, by using evidence to effectively guide our work on UK programming, youth engagement and domestic advocacy. You will provide high quality research and evidence to inform decisions and support measurement and evaluation to understand the reach and impact of our work. Looking to the future you will help us to pioneer new and inclusive methods in evidence gathering.
You will be the main Research and Evaluation point of contact for one of our main UK programmes, as well as leading specific cross-programme deliverables and providing advice and support to other teams.
We are looking for someone with substantial experience working in the field of research and evaluation. Strong analytical skills, comprehensive knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research and evaluation methodologies and knowledge of developing monitoring frameworks are vital. You will be someone who works collaboratively, builds positive relationships and is results focused. You will be a skilled communicator who can convey complex messages, tailored to different audiences and methods.

We are gradually moving back to our offices on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, East London and we anticipate most colleagues will work one or two days a week in the office and the rest of the time from home. We will happily discuss other flexible options to suit your circumstances.
