The ARK Recording Studio is a cosy ‘boutique style' recording studio in the centre of Lincoln, LN1 (Bailgate).
The quiet periphery with garden and free nearby parking are an antidote to mercial multi-studio arrangements so often found these days.
I offer a well equipped studio environment, with an acoustically treated control room and a vocal booth to record vocals, do voice-overs, podcasts and record acoustic instruments including guitars and bass.
Multiple day booking discounts and tailored packages for recording and mixing EP’s and albums are available! Just ask. ;-)
Here are some price examples:
Price per hour: £ 20.-
Half day 4 hours: £70.-
1 day - 8 hours: £135.-
1 day - 10 hours: £175.-
2 days - 20 hours: £340.-
Mastering £25.- per track (I do a analogue / digital mastering hybrid)
Book a simple days studio hire, get some help with your songwriting, arrangements, etc. - the studio provides a fully professional service at very reasonable rates in an inspiring atmosphere.
I offer following services: Production, arranging, recording, mixing, mastering.
Prices to mix a song from just £125.- per song (depending on track count plexity).
The studio: At the heart of the studio is a vintage Yamaha 16 track console. I use 24 channels of high quality audio converters and a very powerful MacBook Pro 2.4ghz i9 with a secondary display and all the industry leading plug-ins, but also offer an array of high-end and vintage analogue gear in my outboard rack to give your tracks an analogue sound if so desired.
The studio features Kali In8 3-way main monitor system, Rogers Studio 1’s, plementary pair of Yamaha NS10’s and Auratones near field monitors in order to reveal every last detail of your sound.
Also included in the price is the use of musical instruments like keyboards, guitars and basses and also the use of guitar amps and a bass amp (Ashdown).
