10 person set (38 pieces) of Park Place China, made 1913 by Reid & Co. of Park Place Works, Staffordshire, England.
Pattern no 695.
This is a very rare collection of hand-finished bone china in beautiful, warm and striking colours (russet, black, green) with gold edge.
It's exceptional to find a set this large, comprising:
10 tea cups, 12 saucers, 12 tea plates, 2 sandwich/cake plates, one bowl, one cream /milk jug. One teacup has been repaired (see image) but is still usable, and this set is otherwise in excellent and very well-cared for condition for its age.
We are downsizing and hope this china can find a home with someone who can love and appreciate its uniqueness and history. It has been in our house for over 100 years.
