Raleigh Trail XC Bike that’s covered under 50 miles and explains why ponents look almost like new. 20-inch, lightweight, aluminium, Raleigh, special trail frame (that’s about medium because it’s slightly fy, upright, riding position than old-type mountain bike frames of the same size) with suspension forks – seat will lower a bit or can be raised – suit a person 5ft 6 – 5ft 10. There are few tiny marks that are hardly noticeable on frame from storage.
Almost like new: 26-inch, double-walled (means they’re stronger and more likely to keep running true/straight), alloy, Accedo wheelset with Quando hubs. Pair 26 x 1.95 tyres with tread that looks like new. Clarke mechanical disk brakes – means they can be left without never having to bleed brakes.
Good flat pedals with reflectors (tiny scuff that is hardly noticeable on side of one pedal from storage).
All ponents look almost like new: 21-speed Shimano Tourney SIS (bombproof) gears, triple chainring that makes pedalling up hills much easier, Shimano cassette and KMC chain.
Everything worked very well during short ride just before taking photos. This bike really looks almost like new.
Its special, fy, trail frame makes it ideal for enjoying those wonderful views from fy, padded saddle, as well as good bike muting, fitness or fun along cycle routes, grass, national cycle trails, and towpaths. Also, ideal bike for riding with kids/grandchildren in parks and green spaces, especially with front suspension for rolling straight over tree roots and pot holes.
I’m happy to save items if you can let me know an approximate time for collection only/viewing 8am-10:00pm most days (apart from odd trip out) from small, covered, front porch/doorway with working doorbell that switches light on during night time at private housing estate, former site of Shirecliffe College (easy to find from bus stops, cycling, driving, and walking), just off Shirecliffe Road, Standish Way, Sheffield, S5 8YA.
I’ll carry change for cash payments and immediate collection because internet banking transfers can take up to 2 hours to clear an account.
