Quality Monitoring Senior, SOX, ISQM1, ACA, ICAS, Mainly Remote
Quality Monitoring Senior required to work for a Professional Services business based in Central London. However, due to Covid-19, this will mainly be remote.
We need someone in the Risk, Controls & Governance space who has a background in the likes of ISQM1 or SOX compliance. You will either be qualified (ACA or ICAS) or part qualified.

Key responsibilities:
Assisting subject matter experts in documenting and updating existing procedures, controls, and actions for a range of components.Testing the operating effectiveness of processes and controls across the components of our system of quality management.Manage relationships with stakeholders across the firm.Assist in the identification of gaps/weaknesses in current processes and controls and working with the remediation team to address findings.Providing assistance in updating project plans, tacking milestones and updating of central risk management systems.Working with stakeholders to deliver projects on time and ensuring they are kept up to date on progress and changes that affect them.Providing general project management support such as tracking responses to information requests, updating actions and following up on outstanding issues. Experience required:
Professional qualification ACA/ICAS or equivalent is desirableRegulatory and risk management knowledge: Some experience and knowledge of the regulations and regulatory environment impacting a professional services firm. Technical knowledge in the areas of risk management, compliance and professional ethics are desirable.Understanding of controls and their application in the workplace including design, sufficiency, operating effectiveness, deficiencies, and recommendations.SOX or previous ISQM1 experience desirableAbility to work collaboratively as a team player as well as work independentlyStrong communication skills and ability to develop strong rapports with key stakeholdersExcellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbalTakes responsibility for own development by being self-motivated and taking all relevant opportunities to learn. Energy and enthusiasm and a willingness to share your knowledge and experience with others.Plans own workload to complete tasks to agreed deadlines and resolve issues within own area of responsibility and as supervised This is a great opportunity and salary is dependent upon experience.
