Qualified Nursery Practioner

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated experienced and committed Early Years practitioner to join our team , working 37.5 hours per week , 51 weeks of the year.
The right candidate will have a hands on approach and a passion for caring for children.
The position requires the candidate to be fun, enthusiastic, and effective to support our hard working team.
Job Details:
Salary
£10.42 per hour
Full and part time permanent contracts are available
Working Monday - Friday between the hours of 8am and 6pm.
You will need:
Relevant level 3 qualification in childcare
An up to date Paediatric first aid certificate. Safeguarding and food hygiene certificates would also be an advantage.
The main duties of the role include:
*Ensuring a high standard of care is provided for children
*Follow and be aware of nursery policies and procedures
*Build excellent relationships with other staff and parents
*Do monthly observations and keep a development record for all children they are key worker for
*Ensure children are stretched to their full potential
*Work as a team with management and staff
*Give support to others within the staff team and to learners/ students on placement, being respectful of their ideas
*Attend training and staff meetings to develop skills and knowledge
*Deal with children's behaviour in a relevant manner without shouting or undermining children
*Liaising with other professionals when needed
*Working alongside the SENCO for children with special needs
*Ensure the nursery is clean , tidy and inviting to children and parent's at all times
*Ensure high standards of safety and hygiene are adhered to
*Ensure children are able to move onto other settings e.g., School in a caring and considerate manner, using transition sheets and also liaising with parents and carers
