Production Engineer - West Midlands

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for supporting production from an engineering capacity. With a reactive manner, your role will be primarily focused on making decisions on manufacturing queries and solving problems in a fast-paced environment. Applicants will have knowledge of CNC cutting tools or production of Carbide/PCD tooling. Knowledge of grinding or erosion machines is expected.

Daily job role
* First off verification of tooling in manufacture
* Assisting operators with grinding / erosion issues
* Jigs and fixture assistance
* Inspection backup / final sign off
* Generating manufacturing routes
* Internal reject system management
* Ensuring production flow
Experience / skills
* CNC Application knowledge
* Cutting tool inspection knowledge
* Process improvement
* Grinding / Erosion setting
* SOP knowledge
Any other reasonable request from a member of the Management team.
You will be joining a pany, with a growing team with a range of experience levels. Exactaform offers great job security, full training, and opportunities for progression.
Days: Monday – Thurs 7.30am-4.30pm, Friday finish at 12.30pm
Nights: May be available in the future
Interviews will take place on a weekly basis.
