I am an experienced one-to-one English tutor based in Edinburgh. I have been tutoring for eight years in Edinburgh, including running tutorials for university undergraduate students at The University of Edinburgh and groups of international students.
Prior to this I have taught English, maths and science at two schools in India. I hold an M.Sc. in Mind, Language and Embodied Cognition, a BA in Philosophical Studies and a CELTA qualification from the Centre of English Studies.
I tutor students studying for English, philosophy and psychology following the SQA syllabus for Nat 5 and Higher as well as Edexcel and AQA GCSE qualifications. I also tutor younger years in reading, writing and spelling.
I provide essay assistance for university students and have prepared international students for their IELTS and B2 exams. I also offer assistance with business English and advanced English.
I am a member of the PVG scheme by Disclosure Scotland. For any documents, please ask me.
I can travel out to your home (location dependent), meet in a local library/cafe or do the lessons online. Please give me a call to arrange an introductory session.
