Personal Assistant/Carer - Bristol

We are looking for a temporary to permanent cover Personal Assistant/ Carer for our teenage son with Down Syndrome. He’s a fun loving lad, with a great personality.
£10.90 ph
Role-
To enable him to access munity, clubs, leisure and fun activities ( days out, cinema swimming, linking up with girlfriend and her Personal Assistant) . Supervise and keep safe. Mentor life skills activities at home or out ( example helping him clean his room or using a bus). Food preparation and cleaning when required.
Musts-
* Car driver with clean driving licence, reliable car and confident driving around Bristol.
* Reliable.
* Experience with disabilities and or childcare.
* Updated DBS or willing to have one done ( we can organise and fund this).
* Clear spoken English to munication needs.
* Must like cats and a friendly dog.
Other preferable skills- Good sense of humour, fun loving and caring , active. A good sense of boundaries to support behaviour. Intuitive to needs. A motivator.
Availability-
Currently requires-
Temporary From May- end of September. 10 hours a week.
Saturday- 5 hours- 1.30-6.30 ( can be flexible during school holidays).
Weekday- 5 hours - can be split between two days.
School holiday hours to be discussed. During this time regular set hours can be moved around to modate school holiday activities.
Flexible permanent- October - May 2024. Cover our main P. A who will be back working and studying in Bristol.

Christmas Holiday weeks ( we are flexible here).
Easter Holiday
Any other weekend or school holiday she can’t do.
Then again 2024, May- end of September hours, as above.
