Job Description: SMART Education would like to recruit Pastoral Support in Wolverhampton. This pastoral position will be offering additional support within primary and high schools across Wolverhampton. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of working with a wide range of educational personnel and other stakeholders, and have experience of forming effective, professional relationships with young people. The person appointed to this role will join a supportive team and report directly to the Assistant Headteacher who has overall responsibility for Behaviour and Attitudes. These positions commence ASAP potentially until the end of the academic year. The schools are looking to hold interviews and lesson observations as soon as possible. The schools recognise that creativity enhances children s academic, social and mental well-being and should not be compromised. They truly believe in having the child at the heart of learning. They like to collaborate with local communities, schools, and beyond and require people who can support this in an administrative way. • Support students in their day-to-day life at school • Point of contact for students for Pastoral issues • Administration duties • Taking registers and following up poor attendance Experiences Required: 6 months experience of working in office work and/or working within a secondary school environment supporting in a pastoral capacity.
