Part time Tree Officer

Our client is a North London Council who are looking for a part time Tree Officer to assist their planning department. This can be done remotely or from the office with visits to sites on a regular basis. Duties will involve processing all applications for works to trees, communicating with the relevant stake holders and to generally help deliver the Council s tree protection programme. This will include maintaining the statutory TPO register, liaising with the Council s arboriculture and planning policy units, ensuring proper GIS recording of TPO s and the agreed work programme. Candidates should ideally have had working experience in a similar position and have a Level 3 or above qualification in Arboriculture. In return an hourly rate of GBP25 is offered for a 25 hour week, spread over three days. This is a temporary contract expected to roll on indefinitely for the right candidate
