Your Company:The talent acquisition team at NET Professional are partnering with a well-established manufacturing business to assist them on an exciting search for a talented part-time HR Advisor to join their team in the Southampton area. The business operates within the power and fuel sector, working on revolutionary concepts and products to help the world reach more sustainable environmental targets within the near future and to advance the way we are businesses and individuals think about our impact on the world. Since the company began several decades ago it has dedicated its mission to combining electrical machines with power electronics and turbomachinery to enable a cleaner usage of current fuels, as well as laying a path for the development carbon-free fuels in the future.This is a newly created role, to work within the company for 2 days per week, to provide support on a broad range of HR related matters. This has come around due to recent expansion of the business, whereupon they have increased their workforce by between 50 and 100 employees, and therefore desire to ensure they have the human resources to fully support the business and its employees to ensure future success and further growth. This role will require the individual to provide CIPD Level 5 equivalent support, on matters of future growth and talent attraction, employee relations and also learning & development.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesWhile in this position your duties may include but are not limited to: Providing support with both recruitment and onboarding, ensuring the smooth execution of processes and that all documentation is generated and accurate General HR administration and coordination, acting as a point of contact when needed across the business on HR related matters Supporting on Employee Relation matters and cases, which may include grievances and also performance monitoring and appraisals Involvement in Learning & Development, ensuring that employees learnings paths are accounted for and supporting the team to implement these activities and procedures Assisting with additional administrative tasks when neededWhat you will need to Apply:The company is keen to hear from ambitious HR professionals, with a few years of experience in a previous HR position. Ideally the candidate will need to possess their CIPD Level 5 qualification and be keen to progress this further. Excellent communication skills will prove valuable within this role, as well as a proactive 'can-do' attitude, to fully support the recruitment processes and ER related queries. It would also be preferred that the candidate have proficiency with IT and HR systems, and feel competent in utilising Microsoft Office as a tool for work.What you will get in Return:For this part-time position, the business is offering a starting salary of GBP35,000, Pro-Rata, which will be dependent on previous experience and HR knowledge that can be brought to this role. This will accompany a generous package including good holiday allocations, a pension contribution and additional monetary incentives to supplement the overall package.This position can be worked within a hybrid capacity with one day a week being worked in the Southampton based offices and the other can be worked from home, providing an excellent work-life balance and a comfortable environment with colleagues to support and collaborate with.
