Allstaff Recruitment are currently seeking a Careers Manager on a part–time basis and during term time only, based in Milton Keynes for a \"good\" rated Ofsted school.

Salary: GBP19850 – GBP20,837 plus Honorarium Location: Milton Keynes Type of Contract: Permanent, Part–time and term time. Hours: 31.25 hours a week Monday – Friday, term time only. The role
As the Careers Manager your role will involve the following important duties:
Lead and coordinate the development of Careers education, information and guidance (CEIAG).Advise senior leaders and governors, developing the careers programme.Arrange speakers and presenters to promote career pathways.Provide impartial career guidance and destination information to students in Years 7 to 13.Line manage the Careers and Work Experience Officer.Organise one–to–one meetings with students that focus on career pathways and progression.Devise effective strategies in assisting students to create action plans for employment, education or training.Support students with completing applications for employment, apprenticeships, FE and HE courses. As a successful Careers Manager, you will have the following:
Previous CEIAG Manager experience and supporting students with post 16 options.Level 6 Diploma in Career Guidance and Development.ICT competency qualifications/experience.Willing to undergo enhanced DBS check.Organised and a team player.Relate well to both adults and young people in an appropriate way.Enthusiastic, inspirational and motivated.
