A PAIR OF VINTAGE, RARE, 1970'S HABITAT 4 PT CROCK POTS/CASSEROLE POTS MADE BY PEARSON'S OF CHESTERFIELD. IN VERY GOOD CONDITION, AND STILL WITH LIDS.
One Crock Pot was purchased from Habitat in 1970, the other was purchased from Habitat, in 1974; very similar, except the older pot has Made In England 4 pt By Pearson's Of Chesterfield Established 1810 stamped on the base, the other has nothing stamped on the base. Both are free from cracks or chips except a tiny hairline crack on the lid of the 1970 pot, but it does not go right through.
Dark Brown glazed pottery; And have you ever seen a Maidenhair Fern in one of these pots? when I was an Art student in 1970, a female student bought the same casserole pot and placed a Maidenhair Fern in it; and it looked absolutely stunning, and gave great character to her apartment.
