Original Ercol vintage drop leaf 100% solid elm wood table

Lovely early original Ercol mid century gateleg drop leaf table.
Made from solid elm wood. Originally stained dark, now beautifully sanded to reveal lovely warm tone of elm wood with stunning grain. The dark stain is retained in some areas of the legs to create unusual detail and interest, making this a unique piece. Finished with 2 coats of natural wax to bring out the wood grain, enrich the colour and provide protection.
Can be used as a dining table seating 6-8 when open or as a smaller occasional table when closed.Taking up little space when not in use.
In good strong condition.
93 cm depth,
140 cm width fully extended, 46 cm folded down, each leaf adds 47 cm.
72 cm height.
A quality designer piece from the 1960s.
