Old Solid Brass base/frame. Ideal for a craftsman's woodwork project etc. 68½cm x 38cm. Weighs approx 5½ kg. See pictures for other dimensions.
I know there is a craftsman out there somewhere who is making an ottoman box or cabinet for which this would be a perfect base. It needs polishing up, I don't know the tricks of the trade but I'm sure someone might be able to really bring this up.
I have no idea how old it is or what it was originally used for. I have given the details best to my knowledge, I'm happy to take further close up photos. This is a COLLECTION ONLY item. So you'd be able to see for yourself that it is what you want. Downham Market, Norfolk area.
