Welsh Speaking Learning Support Assistant
Salary: £10.77 an hour
Full time: 8:30am-3:30pm (Monday-Friday)
Start date: 27th of February
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our Welsh medium partner schools in Cardiff to start after February half term. The school strives to create a welcoming and friendly environment for both children and staff. You will be working within the nursery class alongside two other members of staff, who are eager to welcome you into the team and support you throughout the role.This is an ongoing full-time role until the end of the academic year, with the potential to continue in the following academic year.
What will the role entail?
- Supervising and overseeing activities throughout the day
- Preparing equipment before children arrive
- Ensuring classroom is tidy throughout the day
- Supporting the teacher with behaviour management
- Creating a positive and engaging environment for the children
What do you need for the role?
- An Enhanced Child Only DBS on the update service
- To be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
- 2x professional references
- Ability to speak fluent Welsh
