This is a 1994 Laguna blue S-spec type II (1.8l) with 2 previous owners (not including the trader I purchased it from that only had it around 2-3 weeks).
The reason I am selling is due to winter just being around the corner and me not having the time let alone the space to hold onto 4 mx5’s so it has come to the point where the right thing to do is sell one.. This being the most recent one I’ve bought I’ve decided I’m least attached to it although it’s honestly probably the cleanest one I own.
180km (110k miles). Imported in 2005 with 128km on the clock (import documents included). Spoken to the second owner who apparently purchased from an elderly gentleman in his 80’s that kept it garaged throughout ownership which shows.
Recent service including oil, filter, plugs, leads and new coil pack
Front and rear discs & pads + 2 x rear calipers replaced last year shown on the decent amount of service history
Even has a near full tank of super unleaded..
Although it is currently without MOT and SORN’d it has only done 5000 miles since last MOT
INSPECTIONS MORE THAN WELCOME
Don’t actually believe it’s ever been welded, VERY minimal surface rust and chassis rails are immaculate as you can see in the photos.
Bad Points
- No MOT as previously stated
- Small crack in OSF wing (unsure what caused it) but would either need replacing or I’m sure could be welded
- Crack in bottom of bumper, would recommend painting the full front bumper at the same time due to quite a lot of small stone chips
- Rear bumper I was going to replace as not a fan of the rear fog positioning as well as the exhaust shield. Did buy another rear bumper in the same blue which I was going to repaint and replace it with.
- Haven’t yet got a clean enough drivers seat for it so will source one before sale (another passenger seat in photo)
Other than that it really is a genuine car which deserves to have the time put in to really make it something special and at the very least a great investment with lots of really nice parts added.
So I have 2 prices..
1 with how it sits with everything included in the list which is £6.5k
The other price is with the last 15 on the list of parts removed and replaced with oem replacements which is £5.5k
I also have a near brand new set of Meister R Zeta coilovers and an ARC air box that I also planned to fit which are negotiable..
I do have prices added to the full list of parts which adds up to nearly £5k alone in my opinion with sensible prices. People who know their parts can do their own calculations but if you’d like a list please PM me.
